Hi all,

I am just reading through the AOS guidelines and point 4 has confused me a little. It reads that I need to submit a copy of 'non US citizens spouses' passport and K1 Visa etc. Is this just a wording error? I am the K1 Visa (non US citizen) holder looking to AOS and spouse (wife) is the US citizen. I assume this actually means that I need to submit photocopies of my passport and not my spouses?

Thank you!

It's written FOR the USC as in many cases the non-USC doesn't speak English so it means "the passport of your spouse who is the non-USC".

Gotta tell you I never noticed it before. Have a look at the AOS thread in my signature, that should help you out.

Good luck :)

thanks for your help everyone.

actually looking at it again the guidelines read 'non US citizen spouses' so the citizen is without an 's' on the end. i can understand what they are saying now. i guess it was just the way I was reading it although it may be a good idea to clarify it a bit more. thank you all again
