somewhere on her i read about a couple who made a big scrapbook containing all their proof of bonafidability (?) with pix together, boarding passes, hotel/meal receipts, letters, emails, etc. they said the interviewer was impressed and she got her k-1. so i have made a huge scrapbook similar, stuffed with tons of pix, passes, even letters from our hotel saying how long we stayed together there (54 nites in one in pokhara!), a letter from my business lawyer and copy of my will showing her as main beneficiary (ain't got nobody else to leave it all to), even working on getting 5 freinds/neighbors to write short letters saying i live here alone, starting new life in new place together, always talk about marrying my fiance from there, etc.. surely thats gotta prove to embassy our intentions are not fraudulent! now wheres NOA2?

assuming we ever get to the interview stage, which i will attend there, will they even take our "scrapbook"? it wont fit under that bank teller window slot, so will they allow us to give it to them at all? or am i just wasting my time making it so nice and organized? somebody reply! P.S. i just wrote the "Ombudsman" dude with the form filled out about outside processing times.

It's excellent that you'll attend the interview -- it cannot hurt and is always a plus, and in fact it's an unspoken requirement at some consulates (Ecuador is prime among these). Regarding your scrapbook, simply prepare looseleaf pages (encased in plastic sleeves, if you wish; it's optional, but perhaps helpful if you're gluing or taping things to paper) that you can easily pull from a scrapbook or 3-ring binder that you've organized into logical sections (meaning that you can readily lay your hands on related items). Ideas of sections include boarding passes/luggage receipts; photos from visits; representative samples of e-mails; postal-mailed cards & letters; etc.

We used an accordion folder that we bought at a discount store for $1.50 -- very easy to reach into and pull stuff from.

Approach the project from the standpoint of making things easy for someone to whom you're going to give a lot of information, and you'll be fine, si man.

so are you suggesting that i not put it all in a hardcover scrapebook, like a pix album? i've already got it all together along with print outs of hundreds of Instant message conversations, emails me to her, emails her to me, and even put little colored office tabs sticking out to see different sections, i. e. bank and CC statements, house loans/deeds, divorces papers, etc. will thay NOT come around to get the entire book to look thru? MUST i slip pages under a window slot? our book looks sooo cute and organized i'd hate to unravel it. rsvp

As stated, anything unbendable will NOT fit under the small, curved slot at the embassy. Follow the advice above. Regarding the letters, UNLESS the Nepal embassy is highly suspicious and considers everybody (even Americans) to be criminals (like Ecuador), do NOT include the letters in the I-129F mailing. (Note: Read the reviews about the Nepal embassy thoroughly, to infer whether all possible evidence should be included in the initial mailing. If you've already sent the I-129F, and if you get an RFE for anything, you can include the letters when you return what the RFE asks for.) Instead, bring the letters to the embassy interview, and don't hand them over unless things in the interview are going south. If you're not allowed in the interview yourself, give them to your fiancee, who should not hand them over unless things are going south.
