just curious coz NVC is reviweing my doc's againnnn. i told NVC i sent them original birth cert. but they claim its photocopy....

so how long does it take for them to review the doc's again just curious.. anyone been in this situation??

IR-1 / CR-1 Visa

2010-04-19: approved online wohoooo

2010-04-24: NOA2 hardcopy received

2010-04-26: gave 2 email addresses and assigned case #

2010-04-27: received/sent ds3032, AOS bill

2010-05-01: IV bill became available online/paid

2010-05-06: sent in DS230 package via express mail 9:07am

2010-05-11: NVC acknowledges the receipt of AOS on 05/05

2010-05-13: operator told me that AOS sent to supervisor for review....

2010-05-14: AVR changes to received the checklist letter response on 5/13

2010-05-23: RFE for original birth cert. (i did sent original).......arghhh

2010-05-24: BC under review by some department

2010-06-02: sent in original BC again and previous BC is still under review

2010-06-10: NVC recognizes BC into their system

2010-06-15: BC under review

2010-06-21: SIF!!!!!omggggg soo happy 57 days in NVC process

2010-06-28: interview on Aug. 19, 8am.

2010-08-19: interview went fine but he's put into AP :(

2011-01-09: almost 5 months in AP "still pending"

2011-02-06: 5 and half months and still counting......when is this torture going to end....

2011-02-20: 6 months still no answer..........

2011-03-08: more than 200 days passed in AP..................(

2011-03-24: visa has been issued today. hurayyyyyyyyyy finally wait is overrrr.

2011-03-26: got the passport wohoooo

2010-04-19: approved online wohoooo

Hi. So, the documents are being reviewed by a supervisor now? I read on here that they usually estimate that it will take 10 business days. If they were submitted again, that would take about 2 weeks (although I have seen 3 weeks as well). Good luck!

no not submitted again but they r re-reviweing it and this time the supervisor is reviewing my ds230 coz the person who reviewed it b4 said that birth certc isn't original and i told NVC its original and now the forward my ds230 to supervisor and he/she will review it.

when NVC usually says 6-8 weeks i know it takes 8-15 business days to review all the other doc's

but this is diff. they have the doc's in hand and the supervisor is going to review it.

They normally always say 8-10 days, it is their standard answer. It usually takes 3-4 days.

You mentioned in your other thread that you did not actually speak with a supervisor. If you haven't heard back from them in 3-4 business days, call and ask to speak to a supervisor and don't take no for an answer (persistent, but polite works).

Does anyone know here in pakistan portal if the NVC starts to assign the interview dates for Islamabad embassy earlier than just during the second week of the month? Had anyone has gotten a date during the last week of the month or first week of the month?

USCIS Journey:

05-12-06 - Petition Sent for spouse of a green card holder (F2A)

05-18-06 - NOA1

06-24-09 - I-130 Approved (PD not current but sent to NVC (PD- May 04 2006)and Case Transferred to NVC

10-22-09 - Applied for US Citizen

02-25-10 - Became US Citizen.

NVC Journey:

07-07-09 - Entered into NVC , case number assigned

07-15-09 - Letter received from NVC saying Case number assigned.

10-19-09 - AOS Fee and IV Fee Bill received

10-28-09 - Paid AOS Bill and - Paid IV Bill

10-29-09 - IV and AOS packet generated

02-25-10 - Request sent to upgrade case to Spouse of a US Citizen(IR1) from Spouse of LPR(F2A)

03-29-10 - Case upgraded to IR1 from F2A

04-13-10 - AOS and DS-230 package Delivered

04-19-10 - NVC received Package(or entered into system)

04-28-10 - RFE Generated; April 30th 2010 - Email received about RFE

05-04-10 - RFE response Mailed; May 5th 2010 - RFE accepted by NVC; May 11th 2010 - RFE Entered into NVC system

05-19-10- SIGN IN FAILED (Case Complete)

05-25-10- Operator and NVC Email confirmed Interview date

07-29-10 - Iinterview @ 8:00 am APPROVED

07-31-10 - Visa In Hand.

08-08-10 - POE

dont worry i am in same boat, asked by NVC send original marriage certificate , and i have already submitted original and moreover they didnt mention in the earlier checklists-two- now my marriage certificate id under review. it was told to me by supervisor that it will take 10-15 days.i talked supervisor.

oo so when did they put u under review again for these documents. coz i'm like sick and worried and want them to re-review as soon as possible so i can b over this headache. they say 10-15 days and ihope its not that long lolz it seems alot.. dont have patience anymore. how'd u get to the supervisor by the way they never transfer me...

i just simply called and asked to , i want to talk to supervisor first he didt but i again i called and then there was a lady supervisor, in my opinion talk to sup... is in vaind and of no use bcz they say same thing that we will review the marriage certificate and reply you asap.

did they reply to u saying ur doc's were original or not pretty quickly??? coz i known its been only 2 days since they transferred my files to the department for review but i'm expecting to get an answer by tomorrow lolz. if not i'll scream coz i'm polite enough whenever i talk to the operators and they never transfer me to the supervisor.
