Anyone think we will see any interview dates this week (with the exception of Monday)? I remember an operator saying something a bit strange to me about when dates are given out... she actually said the dates could come any time if the embassies are bored (her words) and call and request appointments. But I wonder if that is true... you know how many stories they give us... LOL!

it's really painful that even though nvc has assigned the interview for me back on May 25th, but they still haven't sent the file to the Islamabad embassy. I wonder why they keep the file after assigning the interview date. I thought they should just send the file rightaway after interview date is assigned..The AVR still not updated and still says that case was completed on May 19th. Any ideas when this AVR will be updated?

Dont worry about that as long as you have interview date assigned nothing to worry about.........

I have few question about islamabad embassy immigrant visa process,

How long Pakistan Police Character Certificate is good for?

After interview i know you get your passport back through American Express courier however when and how you pay for that?

How is it arranged to get back your passport through american express courier?

How many days it take to get you passport back without an AP?

Is there anything extra or special instruction for spouse interview?

What do you all recommend to take for an interview?

All help would be greatly appreciated

Check this thread out for police cert validity , its seems it is valid for 3 months only.

I would also suggest you to read the embassy review in Portal pages for Pakistan embassy. There people have their experiences during their interviews i Islamabad.

my interview was assigned on April 29th and the AVR change on May 13th..so please dont waste your energy worrying about this get prepared for your ten minutes of fame and enjoy it..
