Deep--Ok, they are not buying that your relationship is bonafide. So you need to overload proof of evidence. The stuff they've asked for is very common in Vietnam and China. Delhi, unlike Bombay and Madras, is a very high-fraud consulate and they are notorious with the 221g there. I don't know the particular circumstances of your case or the red flags you might have thrown up but you need to get started on compiling all the stuff that is mentioned on that letter and more if you can come up with it. You have one more shot and you need to make good use of it. I'm sorry for what you're going through, hang in there!

Indian consulates are hesitant to accept any information at the interview stage. If it's an AP, the additional information has to be submitted to VFS. I hope your AP isn't too long, Delhi AP typically runs from 4-8 weeks.

Thanks.

We are shocked with it, but like you said I am going to overload it. She has lot of things from the list but they choose not to look at it.

I have seen the letter now.

She has all the documents with her at the time of interview and still she was asked to submit all the documents and passport to VFS office. :star:

One more thing, there must be a time limit on the interview... she was still at the CO window and they have announced the next person name to come to the window. :bonk:

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hopefully, it will be a quick AP. It sounds like you have all the infor that they want. Good luck, and keep us posted!

I have no decision for visa. She was told to submit all the support documents to VFS that she was carrying with her. All went smooth till the Interview.

First CO told her it is a fake marriage, that really upset my wife and it took her some time to convince her that it is not.

CO asked her how many relative she has in US 2-3 times, she told her she only has her sister husband and her sister is also going through NVC right now.

CO went through all the wedding/honeymoon pictures. Did not ask pictures for my second trip?

We are both late in getting married, not a typical Indian boy/girl age.

In the middle of it, she told my wife "You can get into big problem if you lie". It was in the middle of when she was convincing her that her marriage is not a fake marriage

Wife told her that what ever I told you is 100% truth and I am not lying.

At the end, she was convinced and told her to "submit some support documents, pictures to the VFS office". But she was given her passport and a letter that CO has signed it.

CO told her to go to window 25 to talk to Indian lady and She has mentioned to the young Indian lady at window 25 that she has everything with her now.

But she was told to follow instructions on the letter.

Out of 30 immigrant interviews, 8 were CR1 and 5-6 has objections/no decisions/additional/administration processing.

I am going to get a fax from her soon, I will post you all.

I don't know where we stand now...."objections or no-decisions or additional/administration processing".

Please let me know if you have any idea.

Good thing is she was given letter signed by CO to submit documents to VFS office. :star:

Bad thing is they have given her the passport... :help:

(I got to see the letter, we may need to submit passport to VFS, it was not a productive day like we were expecting).

Hey what you mean by you both were late for the marriage and not a typical indan boy/girl marriage?

Hey what you mean by you both were late for the marriage and not a typical indan boy/girl marriage?

Whatever it is, I hope your wife gets the visa very soon.

Goodluck.

Damn Deep, I'm sorry to hear that. Thankfully, by the sounds of what you and others have said, it seems like just a small bump in the road. Best of luck!!

I thought the same thing! I said, surely my husband will be here to see the birth of our child. Then it was surely he'll be here before he turns 3 months...Now it's surely he'll be here before he's 9 months! But this time, I'm pretty certain of it! Congrats again AUS2USA.

Hey, where are you in Cali? I'm in the Bay Area.

I'm in Rancho Cucamonga- Inland Empire. Or, I will be in the next few weeks :)

Congrats, Mike. Hope you get your visa soon!

Thanks sachi

Thanks "tokoyo.lovers","gina_raluca","LoveRani","RGinu" for encouraging words.

In addition to what they are asking and what I have so far. I am doing ----

1. Affidavits from guest attending the wedding (not immediate family members), they can tell that it was a bona fide marriage and they have attended it.

2. Affidavits from friends(American/Indian,teammates,boss) here is US about my marriage... we do talk about it and they are asking me updates from last couple of months... they know I went to India 2 times last year, once for marriage and then visit.

3. Sachinky has given me template/text for affidavit about relationship start to end kind of explanations. I have used it to write my part, I got to help my wife to write her part.

--------------------------------------

Give me feedback please, if you have any text or template for affidavits from friends, teammates,... please send me personal email or update here.

Thanks again, wish me luck, I really need it now. :star:

Another Jul 13 interview approval from Dublin!!

Very straight forward, they asked him how we met, commented as to how we got engaged quickly, it was more of a conversation, nothing difficult in any way. The lady asked if he had pictures, and he showed her a few (he only took 7 with him), including pics of our big wedding ceremony we had after our court wedding. Dublin is more into paperwork. We were missing an original doc, so they gave him a white slip. I sent it from here, took 2 days by USPS/fedex to the Dublin Consulate. the next day, they mailed everything back to hubby including the stamp!

To those going through Dublin, the envelope size you need to bring is 12 by 14!!!We didnt know that, just found out on here that you need an envelop, but noone had the definite size. My husband had to run all over Dublin right after his interview to find it, and come back and turn it in to the embassy before they closed at 4pm!

We are set!! so cant wait!! My husband scanned his passport with the stamp, and the letter they put in there welcoming him to the US. The sealed envelope was also in the 12 by 14 envelope, and in a few wks POE! So thankful!! God is good!!!
