Isnt the PCC to be obtained after getting the appointment letter

We have to take the original PCC directly at the time of interview and not to be submitted to the NVC

please correct me if i m wrong

My experience with NVC, I did not have to submit the PCC and I had asked this atleast 6 times with the operator and atleast 2 times with the supervisor and they all told me that for Pakistan they don't need PCC. Although one time the supervisor gave me different story, he said that recently US embassy in Pakistan just announced new law to complete all docs at NVC including PCC but he wasnt sure when this will be implemented here at NVC. So I took a chance and send the docs without the PCC and it was accepted. This is for Islamabad embassy in Pakistan. Although it is advised to submit it for other countries. To be on the safe side people suggested to submit it with the rest of the docs. :blink:

Today got confirmation from NVC that our case is completed and the interview is scheduled on 29th July @ 7:30 AM at Mumbai Consulate.

We are happy and looking forward for our interview date. :dance::dance:

We called NVC twice yesterday and got the same long ####### response about scheduling interviews in the second week for the following month. How did you guys all get your interview dates so quick? Did you call or email? or they emailed you?
