We went to embassy to check our package arrived, they said they got electronic mail then we asked can you move the date up,The lady said yes and she gave us new Appointment letter.now our date scheduled on July 6th 2010

RPS, I'm so glad you guys got your interview date!!! All those RFEs will mean nothing once he gets here!!

Raluca, congrats!! Are you going to buy the ticket ahead of time or are you going to wait until after the interview?

My mom's interview is at 1:00 PM. Thanks for creating the list!

What day ?Mine is 15th of July, 1 pm...in Bucharest.I am still thinking about the ticket, i might buy one open ticket, i am not sure yet, if not i will just buy one after my interview.Maybe you can suggest me few websites where i could find something good.Also, i am waiting for TAROM or DELTA to include that direct flight from Bucharest to NY, I would like that.They introduced those flights in 2008,and they were pretty ok from what i heard.Also,i called BIOMEDICA to make an appointment for the medical exam,does your mom also need medical exam?Lots of luck to you and your mom.

Raluca, my mom's interview is on July 19th, at the same time! I have been checking expedia.com and bookingbuddy.com for airfare and found something that I think it's reasonable for this season (Bucharest-New York $585). It's with a Polish airline, and it's much cheaper than Tarom ($1003). This flight has a layover in Warsaw. I will then buy her another ticket for the US segment, as I live on the West Coast. I found it to be a $300-$400 difference if I break it like this.

I forgot to add, you might want to contact a travel agent to see if they can find you something cheaper. I know that sometimes that can find some pretty competitive deals.

My mom passed her medical exam about 2 weeks ago. She went to Unirea. If you have any questions about it, send me a PM.
