Yes, we could all tell our old "war stories" over a cold one. (War stories are great to tell, just not so great to go through! ;) )

Hi Uling,

You are lucky to be ahead in the journey. We filed March 6 (wow) and still no NOA2 for us. My hopes for a fall garden wedding are gone...and maybe Christmastime is a tight squeeze. I will host the reunion in summer at our lakeside garden and you can all enjoy fishing and sports.

Let's all keep praying.

Oh Maria, that sounds so lovely - especially to be able to be there with our SOs!

Such a shame about your wedding plans

Hang in there - we're all here with ya!

Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. Everyday I wake up in happy anticipation of an approval. Look, even my boys are growing taller than me while waiting, and maybe I will look like their sister at the visa interview!

Sure would be nice to share experiences when all these frustrations ar behind us.

Keep the torch high!

When we started we thought maybe an October or September wedding. Now we have almost lost faith in a Christmas wedding. I hope we see something soon. And you see something soon too.

Yep, I remember back when we were shooting for an August wedding on the coast :lol::lol: seriously. This is how sad it is: on the DS-156 form for pkt 3, my fiance put "May 2006" as the answer to #22 "When do you plan to arrive in the US?" Seemed reasonable at the time. Then KABOOM, those plans shot to h**l and back. And all for one little teeny checkmark to say "NO", on one teeny little question on one teeny little form that is toally nonapplicable to us. Can this be real, sometimes I wonder? Have we entered some space warp where nothing seems to make sense any more? I'm losing my mind a little more each day and my poor fiance has developed a dull listless tone in his voice and says he is losing hope. Somebody, please Help!!!! :help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::cry:

sleepless in OR - Please tell your fiance not to loose hope. You have the misfortune of the recall compounded with an oversight. Do not forget this process it to weed out and discourage fraud. They want to be able to go... oh... that relationship wasn't serious or they would have stuck it out. This is a heart-wrenching process that can tear you down if you let it. Be strong and keep working to get yourselves back on track to completing the interview. Call your senator and congressperson, get involve, call the embassy... just don't give up. Your blessings will come...

I think we are all in the same despair. I refuse to let them win though. WE will all get our NOA2's very soon. Sleepless, your case is real travesty and our gov't should be ashamed of the mismangement.

Everyone, keep thinking positive and we will have a new graduating class tomorrow.

REUNION, I am up. It would be a blast.

Thanks for the encouraging words. It's just that I've tried all the things you mentioned, and more, and my knees are getting calloused as well. the guy in my congressman's office assured me they have my case flagged for quick attention, and that they should have sent the approval notice Friday or today. And still nothing. When I try to explain this all to my fiance when he calls every day, he just gets more depressed, and skeptical and wonders if there is really some problem, which the guy in my congressman's office assures me there is not - he even called NVC and they claim they are waiting for CSC to send the file back so they can get it back to the embassy in Paris. And still I see nothing on this computer screen day after day after lonely day. And believe it or not, I have always been a positive person, a dreamer some would say. My rational side just doesn't get this. :dead:
