Hi everyone,

I thought my AOS process was going to be easy and fast after getting the firsts NOA's and biometrics procedure schedule in a pretty good time.

I send my package in November 12th, and then in December I recieved a letter saying that my package was transfer to California. By other people comments about maybe not having to go through any interview I thought that that was a good deal.

Now, about 3 weeks ago I found out after calling USCIS that my case is now in Baltimore. It seems like their average proccesing time is 6 months, but I do not if counted from when I sent my package, when it was transfered to California or transfered to Baltimore (what I do not know when happened.

Now USCIS told my they are going to contact the Local Office in Baltimore and that they will send me a letter with information about my case from there.

And the problem is that I want to go to Spain in August and do not when I will be done with this stupid paperwork.

Would you recomend me making one of those INFOPASS at the local office, calling the congressmen (i have heard something about this but do not know how it works) or something else???

Thanks a lot,

Elias Garzon Lopez.
