AOS appointment date but no interview

Filed AOS on Feb 18th 2010,received an appointment letter for the initial interview for May 17th 2010>We showed up on the date but IO told us he couldnt interview me since the local office here did not receive my file from Missouri.IO didnt tell me any specific reason for not receiving the file,he said it happens and as soon as the local office get the file they will re-schedule the interview.He also said maybe Missouri center lost my file and if they did they will recreate it and i will have to wait 30 to 90 days.I am very worried and pondering is it possible that they never sent my file to the local office here eventhough they sent me the appointment letter for the interview? I m just very worried,does anyone went through the similar situation? I also never received EAD eventho its been approved and the card production was ordered. Any suggestion ? My situation is a little similar, but the mistake was that they did not schedule mine and daughter's appointment at the same time.

They first scheduled my daughter's (May 10th) and the month after mine (June 7th). Luckily for me,when we went last month they let us take the interview together,but they did not approved us, because they didn't have my file.

After asking and reviewing it, they will make the final decision.

Seems that even though they are so organized with this paperwork, still some mistakes can appear. The problem is, that there is no way for us to know until you are face to face with them.

Good luck for you and hope you wont need to wait long time before your file could arrive. But I am sure I wont be in few days. I am waiting almost one month...
