K-1's don't stay 'too long' at NVC.

I suggest you keep calling NVC, and Get a Human.

The AVR never retrieves info on K-1 casefiles. Ever. Get a Human

If a Human knows nothing Today, don't sweat it, call back each week, something will change.

WHEN A HUMAN gives you the casefile #, you can then start calling the DOS Hotline (Get a Human ) to get further case status.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Set up an infopass appointment - initiate a 'service request' face to face at yer local USCIS office. It may take up to 30 days, but a 'service request' has as a result, the 'finding of the casefile'.

It may be the file is actually misplaced (rare, but happens)

or USCIS placed the casefile in AP after approval.

If all else fails, call DOS Hotline (# in my profile) and inquire. This will be difficult (you don't know the Embassy Casefile #) , but worth at least 1 try.

If NVC absolutely doesn't have it - then when you call back to USCIS, get a supervisor, ask them if your casefile was place in AP - also ask WHEN they shipped it to NVC. IMO, the first level human at USCIS is useless, in this type of situation. They are right, though - they 'ask' that you give them 30 days, after approval, to get the casefile out of their mailroom and into NVC's mailroom.
