Hello all VJ friends

According to this link http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1263.html the new visa fee increaded up to $350 and my question is if anyone has a visa interview in Juarez after June 4 can you please let us know if you are going to pay the $350 visa fee in Banamex (i believe aplicants pay now like $150)for all of us that we are planning to go in the future. I think is really expensive now. Is more that double but if we have to, we have to. My fiance and I are planning to be in Juarez on the first week of July and we just want to be ready if we have to pay the $350. Thank you in advance.

I read about this fee. My Fiancee paid the fee earlier this month but our interview will be after this new fee is implemented. I hope they dont say that we need to pay the difference at the interview..

The announcement on the DOS web site states that this is effective for Applications June 4, 2010 and after. I am thinking the application date for a K-1 is the date of the interview but how each Embassy/Consulate implements the fee change remains to be seen.

I would contact the Consulate for clarification, with the expectation of paying the difference. Application date is interview date.
