Hello folks,

So I got my EAD card finally, already its a month past the date on the card so im only getting 11 months :-/

My question is, when i need a replacement in 11 months time, will I have to pay a fee for that? I didnt pay this time because it was based on a pending I-765 application. am i gonna have to pay the $340 every 12 months?

Also, since it took about 3 months to get this card, should i be looking to file for a replacement 3 months before this card expires?

Thanks in advance, im totally confused over this now.

Nige

Once you receive the actual GC, the EAD is no longer valid. So, no you won't be needing to replace the EAD card.

Ah ok, i see now. Thanks a lot, you put my mind at rest. I was already kinda fed up with the whole prcess, having to pay $300 to go through it again every year would have been the last straw!!! Thanks so much for responding so quickly!!
