i have a daughter that has a british passport and visa but i am from the phil ,and was wondering can i travel to u.s with her on a tourist visa to see a american man? does anyone know if this has been done before ,I own land and have a house being built and have a little money in bank if they think i wont go back...thanks for any help ...dina

Yes, it's possible. You just need to apply and be granted the tourist visa. I would also recommend that you bring with you the child's birth certificate proving you are the mother just in case.

Thailand is a high fraud country with a long history of not issuing tourist visas. My wife was denied 3 times. To get one you must understand & meet the strongest ties criteria. It is almost impossible to do for average Thai people. Your situation is unique because you are a citizen of the P I & the daughter is a Brit. This will cause the embassy to review your request even more I think.

When you disclose your reason for the visit is to meet an American man you will be denied outright. A tourist visas is for tourisum. Remember as you decide what to do; all people requesting visas are considered intending immigrants.
