I first watched Land of the Dead, then Dawn of the Dead (the remake) and Shaun of the dead. All good movies. I loved Shaun of the Dead.

Yes those are good movies but i would have gone with the original Dawn and added Day and Night to the mix.

Land of the Dead blew I thought. It looked like the shooting script had been pulled to pieces - started off with some good ideas but unfortunately didn't take them anywhere.

Yes Spaced was excellent. I also really enjoyed Land of The Dead and not just for Simon Pegg`s cameo. I know people dislike Land of The Dead but i think it is really good.

Actually, I didn't do it on purpose....at the end of the day there were only a few movies discussed and only one fit the acronym that I used...and from my post I thought it was clear I was talking about a movie...didn't think it'd be too hard to figure out...guess I overestimated ya

I didn't like it - the social commentary was sort of there but muddled. I liked the premise - and it had what looked like some very good ideas. From a writer's perspective however, it seemed as though they had dumped a lot of material - essentially turning what should have been a sub-plot (Dead Reckoning) into the whole movie.

Not only that but it's far less gory than the original movies - Day of the Dead set the bar very high there.

the original script was called Dead Reckoning. The point of Zombie movies for me was never the gore anyway.
