i've read the halo-turning over a new leaf act before & no you're not going to convince me you're being genuine this time. as for more to the letter written TOS enforcement in the OT.. i'm all for it as long as it remain equal. which btw is why some VJ OT forum regulars have left. they couldn't handle the TOS enforcement or lack there of being administerd equally....just like the 'experiment' you referred too in making your points.

I simply mean that to get all bent out of shape because you get a suspension for name calling while someone else does not is silly. You call the names, you know there may be a penalty and it is your choice if you choose to go ahead and name call or be pissy knowing what that penalty is regardless of whether or not the penalty is implemented.

It's easier than that, if you set your modem up not to keep static IP addresses. But, I think that enough of us would participate to make the experiment work, if only to breathe life into that other "failed experiment". Of course, Arijit, et al, would have to give up all the sock puppets as well for the thirty day period.

Nope, sorry, you mis-understood 'that demographic', or decided to push a new position. I never said anything about 10,000 posts.

IMO, it's coincidental that the ones who throw flame bait, make personal attacks, and make racist/bigoted comments just happen to have OVER 10,000 points (There are exceptions to that post count, you betcha - for example, some fella in Ft. Worth with less than 10,000 posts was successful in p|ssing off the Canadien forum) . Sure, I could draw a Venn Diagram about it, but would it matter? You know who the offenders are- and, FWIW, you know WHICH offenders won't reform. It's been long enough, ya ? The pattern has been set, each of you made choices to 'do it that way' - no one held a gun to yer heid and made you type what you did. It's been going on for several years now, and IMO, it's time to stop it. Choice didn't work for those still posting, so, IMO, bring on the 1 month bans. RealSoonNow...
