This is straight from the g-1145 form:

If you are submitting multiple immigration forms for one applicant, please clip this entire form with the email address and/or cell phone number (see below) to the front of the first immigration form of the package. You will receive a separate email and/or text message for each accepted immigration form.

:)

Yes, that's what I read as well. But my interpretation of "submitting multiple immigration forms for one applicant" was that my husband is the applicant for i-130 and I am the applicant for the rest. But if you did it with a single one, I will too. Was it to your husband's name or yours?

Thank you~

Yup, it was my husband's name on the i-130 but I am the beneficiary that he is filing for.

All the forms are technically for only one immigrant: YOU.

Don't worry, I already did this and it's fine ;)

With RFEs and long waits and unpredictability, form g-1145 should be the least of our worry during AOS process anyway

(sarcastic laugther..)

I sent in AOS packages for three people - a K1 and two K2's. Each package included the AOS, EAD, and AP applications. I sent only one G-1145 which was attached to the K1's package. I was sitting in a restaurant having lunch with my family when I got clobbered with 18 text messages in rapid succession. When I got home, there were 18 more emails waiting in my inbox.

One G-1145 is all you need.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

That looks good to me. Is the copy of you marriage certificate a certified copy?

(It should have an official stamp from the city/town hall office if it is)

I sent a certified copy not a regular xerox copy.

And pictures probably won't hurt.

Although I didn't include any and so far it seems that they are OK with that

I only sent copy of our lease and a statement for joint bank account.

I wasn't going to show them pictures until the actual interview because my friend who did this last year said she didn't need to send any.

edited to add that the person at my town hall recommended I send the certified copy and she gave us one extra for free :)

I am not sure nor am I saying that this is required :P

Yeah, I could add some pictures from our trip to Chicago last year and I think I will. Other than that, our relationship is very simple... we don't have children or a place yet, we live at his family's household. Maybe I'll also add copies of airline tickets from my previous visits to the US to visit him.

I wonder if it'd be silly to add Amazon orders where it shows that I've bought him books as a gift.

Regarding the marriage certificate... I've read that sending a xerox copy it's okay... I would send an official certified one, but I'm afraid we are tight on time. In the information sheets they say that you should feel free to send copies of documents and that if they need the original they'll ask. I don't know, maybe we'll stop by the recorder and see if they can give us a certified copy without waiting too much.
