QUESTION AND HELP!!! PLEASE PLEASE!!! :(

Hey guys.. i checked all over and couldn't find any clear answer :(

I got a RFE because I didn't send my i-693 REPORT OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION... I was told they will ask for it if they need it :( so I wait for it :( ... I know it was a mistake but at the moment it seems right.

I got an update on my case that they received my RFE on May 18... My first NOA was April 6...

My question is... is my date case April 6 o May 18 now?

I want to know because hubby is going on a long tour trip work to Spain (he is a lighting programer for a famous singer :)) and i really want to go with him :( but my dead line is August 15 to get my GC as he is leaving on the 20th.

Second thing is I don't know if he will be here for the interview as he is already on tour mostly on weekends but in Centro America and South America. He will see if he can get back for the interview but it is really complicate.

Is there anything I can do? I don't know if I should fill an AP application as I didn't do it because I believed my GC will arrived faster than the AP. I saw timelines and AP gets only a few weeks before GC so I thought will not make any difference.

Do i need to pay for the AP application or is included on my other applications fees?

Please help me as I'm really concern about it.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart :)

Your husband HAS to go to the interview. If he doesn't go your GC will be denied (I assume you're the immigrant).

You didn't submit and AP application but you still can! Send the AP forms (and evidence) off with a copy of the NOA1 from filing AOS. As long as you apply for AP AFTER applying for AOS and before AOS is approved you'll be fine. If you have a set "trip date" you should put it on the form so they know. If the AP documents don't arrive in time you can make an INFOPASS appointment to have it expedited, but you can only do that (from what I understand) after you have the NOA1 from it.

I will ask a moderator to move this qn to the AOS qn's area so you can get more answers.

Good luck :)
