Following our ds-230 submission (with a police certificate) they sent us an RFE for a police certificate. In the attachment they specified that it needed to be with exception to law 51. We sent it in, received on May 5 and yesterday they said there is still information missing. I just talked to an operator and they said it is still missing the PCC. Does anybody have experience with Argentina Police certificates, and why they keep rejecting it? I've read the NVC website, their email attachments, everything.

Also is there any option where they can pass it on to the embassy, and she bring it to the interview? If so how do we ask for that?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Andrew

I cannot answer specifically about Argentina, but I am wondering about something. Is the NVC acknowledging the receipt of your package? They usually take a few days to actually update their system about receiving another package from you. Is the AVR or the operator indicating that they received the checklist response from you? I'm not sure about bypassing the NVC and bringing the police certificate to the embassy. I read somewhere that they will not forward the case without all the civil documents included. I also read that they make some exceptions and a very long processing time at this stage is one of them. Good luck!
