congratulations magmay!!

& sherryl; magmay is right on target. the only time you'll need to pay for anything is when the visa is approved. i hope they got your address right coz its been awhile now and you havent got word of anything. if push comes to shove, i recommend going back to the embassy physically, if possible to settle this. my fiances mother got the letter for her when they carrier dropped it off, do you live with family? and like i said if you recieve the dreaded letter of denial, have your fiance with you when you go for the "disposition" if you can, not saying you need to but it helps alot, but then again lets hope you dont have to go through what magmay and i did, lets hope you get that VISA as smooth as k1member. take care. keep us posted.

Thank you Bmagno, I guess the presence of my fiance during the disposition helped a lot. I am wondering what could have happened if my fiance wasn't with me. Good Luck!!

Hi Toni!

Thanks! anyway, will give u a lil idea.. =) upon doin my search, asking some of the VJ members, if ur on 10th day, always monitor ur air21 tracking#. go online every now and then. If ur tracking # is found, it means that u have APPROVED Visa and u will reveice ur Visa and visa documents soon, if nothing, u will receive a registered letter which is the deny letter of ur visa. That's what I've learned. =)

Let me know, Im excited for you.

Hey Sherryl!

No, they never texted me anything. When I filled up the form, I had no idea that I was supposed to get my tracking number. They didn't give me any instructions regarding that. Yeah, I live in the Manila area. Thanks! I'll do that after lunch. good.gif

Hi TONI!

Have time to call them, ask ur tracking #, u should have one since they gave u AIR21 form. In that way u can monitor, it's one way of knowing if u will have Approved Visa. Once u get ur tracking #, go online for www.air21.com.ph then start to track.

Goodluck Toni!

Wow Sherryl! That was a quick response! You're always readily available. You'd do good in Customer Service. lol. Oooh I seriously didn't know that. I filled up the form and just handed it over. The Air21 personnel didn't bother giving me my tracking number. Thanks for the useful information. I'll surely call later. I'm not at home right now, my family had to rent a hotel room because of the brownout. lol.

Thanks! good.gif

Hey guys! I called the Embassy and Ms.Bella told me that my visa was approved on July 13. Thanks for all the support! good.gif The blue slip wasn't so devastating after all. It's the wait that incites paranoia.

Good luck to the rest who has yet to hear the news.

Sherryl, where are you going to get your CFO? Wanna go together?

Thank you so much, K1! good.gif I was so relieved when I found this thread because I finally found people who were in the same boat as I was. Everyone else in the Philippine thread were getting pink slips and I thought I was the only one who recently got a blue slip. This is wonderful. I'm going to recommend this thread to Michael and Ivy. They just got a 221g.

How long did you wait for your visa? I hope mine won't take 12 working days. Congrats to us! good.gif
