no - is no 'adjust status' for IR-5.

Once they come into the USA, the greencard magically arrives 8 to 45 days later.

Sometimes, though 'AOS' tag can be confused - there is 'AOS' at NVC, for IR-5, you betcha -

but that's 'Affadavit of Support' and not 'Adjustment of Status'.

Most K-1/K-3 visa holders file for 'Adjustment of Status' after arrival in USA.

Your visa type is not K-1/K-3

so - relax la. Seriously !

PS - are you using NVC Electronic Processing?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Darnell,

Have you read about my question for i-864? It is really confusing for the income figures...

The taxable income on the tax return is not the income I really make, I have many deductions from my paycheck...

I saw it yesterday, but wanted to think a bit.

Now that I've had time to think, I've written up some answer, there.
