ir 5 visa, do they get their Green Card automatically once they come to the US?

I just read something about adjust status......i am wondering if I need to summit any other form? Or my parents would get their green card when they enter US?

no - is no 'adjust status' for IR-5.

Once they come into the USA, the greencard magically arrives 8 to 45 days later.

Sometimes, though 'AOS' tag can be confused - there is 'AOS' at NVC, for IR-5, you betcha -

but that's 'Affadavit of Support' and not 'Adjustment of Status'.

Most K-1/K-3 visa holders file for 'Adjustment of Status' after arrival in USA.

Your visa type is not K-1/K-3

so - relax la. Seriously !
