I wasn't planning on getting married without a firm denial from the embassy...i just want to know just in case :) And i haven't contacted my senator's office yet...don't they have to have an original signature to do anything?? I forgot to contact them before leaving...we head home on Sat, so if we haven't heard from them by the time i get home I will go and get all of the releases done so my senator can contact them. And should it be the congressman or the senator?? i'm not sure about all of the differences with all of that...so which is the best way to go?? Thanks again!!

Monica :)

P.S. Will be calling the embassy in about 15mins to check on our case...will let u all know what they say...fingers & toes crossed!!!

Monica,

I thought back to when I asked for my senator's and then congressman's assistance. The senator's office just required a faxed signature, and the congressman's office didn't want or need anything from me (no signature, etc).

I kept trying to remember to post that info for you, but forgot. I would give a call and see if they can/will do anything for you while you're still there.
