Certfi: Originals to NVC ?? Copy to VFS??

1,I have to send all the original Certif:s to the NVC w/ ds 230 ????

2,If yes, then what i give at the VFS ????( Notarized copys ???)

3,When i submitt my Passpot and doc to VFS ,will the return my paspot back?tat i can take it to the interview?

Send copies of originals for things like Birth Certificates, Divorce Decrees, etc to the NVC and take the originals to the interview.

Please fill in your timeline and type of visa you are petitioning for; it makes it easier for others to give you the correct answers

Originals or certified copies to NVC; photocopies are sufficient for USCIS. You do not submit your passport with your original petition, just a copy, you then bring your passport to the interview.

it's 'originals + a photocopy' to NVC

it's 'photocopies only' to VFS.

They will not keep your passport at all - you get a sticker in it, though, at VFS. You MUST take your passport INTO the interview.
