It looks like the appointments are also being set according to the normal pattern. That is to say if the package 3 response is received by the embassy by the middle of the month the appointment will be the next month or earlier. That is good news. :)

Can someone answer this simple question: I received my tax transcripts for the last three years and am going to submit them with the I-134. I will also add the last three months of my paystubs and a letter from my employer. Do I still need to send my W-2's and my 1040's? I thought the tax transcripts would be ok in place of the returns and W-2's, but my novia is telling me that I need to send them. Which should I send?

Guys, the interview was finally scheduled. I'm scheduled for December 31st... wow what a date. Bad news is I'm gonna have to travel to Colombia (well it's always nice to go home, but I wasn't planning on spending an extra plane ticket). The good news is she'll be here for early January and I might even come back with her.

Try calling DOS see if your interviews have been scheduled, i.e. MV-JR.

Congratulations!! I just red VJ so it is too late to call first thing tomorrow morning I will cal and hopefully the will give us some news!!

Byron and Bundy,

Tax transcripts OR W2s with 1040s are ok...the least amount of paper is the best choice...the embassy will accept either.

I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone on their interviews finally being scheduled. These should be great Christmas presents for everyone.

I have one question though about the I-134. I thought you only needed to submit tax returns if you are self-employed, and only the last year at that. I'm in the Army, but still sent my wife my 2006 return paperwork.

Is this sufficient?

Also, for those of you who have interviews in January, have you had luck trying to schedule a medical appointment? My wife called Dr. Gonzalez, but her secretary said they would not schedule any January appointments until January. She has been trying to call Dr. Rosa, but each time she calls she says she gets a busy signal. Has anyone else had this problem?

:dance:APPROVED AT INTERVIEW TODAY, TOOK LESS THAN 5 MINUTES AND WE HAD A PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS AMERICAN WOMAN WHO WAS ACTUALLY FRIENDLY AND CORDIAL WITH US, DID NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN A FEW QUESTIONS TO MY WIFE, BOTH IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH, we will post details later, but the simple story is we got there AT 0530 AND WERE NUMBER 3 IN LINE AND APPROVED AND OUT THE DOOR by 11 am, sorry so short, but we are at a internet cafe , here in Bogota and we just wanted to share the good news. DOMESA WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO PICK UP AT OFFICE, THEY TOLD US IT MUST BE DELIVERED TO A ADDRESS, THATS WHAT THEY TOLD US ANYWAYS. We will post the details of the interview in a couple days when we return to cartagena...good luck all and may your experiences be as easy and pleasant as ours.
