Paola has recieved the Police Certificate from Panama. I called the US Embassy and scheduled another interview date. Sept. 27!!!!!!! Now it is back to stewing and fretting.

Hey Buck,

Glad to hear everything is all set up for another interview for you guys!!!! It sounds like it will go your way this time...the best of luck!!! We have yet to receive our NOA2...we are waiting...waiting...waiting...the waiting SUCKS!!!! You know how that goes. The good thing is that it really isn't much of a rush because Yenifer has 5 months left of school to finish her degree as a nurse. Anyway...Later for now.

Scott, will Yenifer's degree in nursing qualify for employment in the US? Paola has a degree as an (????) blood sucker and shot giver, what ever you call them. She wants to go to nursing school after she arrives in the US. I was wondering if any of the schooling would be viable here.

Congratulations Buck and good luck on Paola's next interview!

I also wanted to comment on the nursing degree here in the States. You should check with your local college for more info (such as transferring credits or taking extra classes here) but what I do know is that many hospitals are struggling to find nurses to fill up their staff. Salaries are very good and the benefits are pretty good as well. Of course it depends on the employer, but for the most part it's one of those degrees that can be very useful here in the States.

Thank you. Diana, I see your interview date is the same day as Paola. You guys may see each other. Although with all the people there and having not met before I'm pretty sure you will not know her. Maybe, just by chance you guys will talk.

I was MIA for a little while, busy with getting ready for the interview next Monday, first of all, sorry Byron to hear the news of Leidy's miscarriage, like every one says, things happen for a reason, just stay strong and things will fall into place.

Buck is great to know that Paola has gotten the police reports from Panama and you have a new interview date, I'm pretty sure this one will go your way. and also good luck for you Diana, i see that your interview is coming up too.

And quoting Byron " being here has made life easier, if it wasn't for this forum, a lot of us would not know what to do or how to handle things, but we're here and learning from each others experiences.

Go luck on your interview Chester and Monica, just don't keep us waiting for too long with the good news...

Later.........................

Buck...just got back from Colombia today and to answer your question about the schooling its up to the college you choose to attend as to the credits they will allow to be able to finish your degree here. We decided that either way it would be best for her to finish what she started in Colombia since she has several years invested already and the only thing left for her is 5 months practical (hands on) for her to get her nursing cert.

The timing is off a probably little with the visa...she may have to stay a couple extra months after we receive approval...but then again the way things seem to be going she might finish school before we get the visa!!!!! :crying::crying::crying:

:thumbs::dance::thumbs:PS...GOOD LUCK CHESTER & MONICA!!! :thumbs::dance::thumbs:

Hi Buck, I see that you are re-living the interview in your mind while Chester and Monica are going thru the motions, I'm trying to picture this myself since i'm gonna go down that road on monday, just getting mentally prepared.

Well, I'm all excite it and can't wait to see Viviana again and spend some quality time with her and of course getting ready for the interview, the only thing is that I'm not gonna have enough time to sleep on friday since I'll be finished working at 1 o'clock in the morning, then go home take shower and practically leave again to the airport, my flight is at 7am..., but everything is worthy to see my girl again................

later............

LETS KEEPS OUR FINGERS CROSSED AND EXPECT REALLY GOOD NEWS FROM CHESTER AND MONICA............
