I sure wish they would schedule some interviews. I am beginning to worry that the pre price increase surge in petitions is having an impact at the embassy level now.

Hi Bill,

Could you please provide me the e-mail of the Embassy again?

I couldn't find the email that you sent to the forum with this information...

Thanks in advance and good luck to Scott and Brian!!!!

Yazz

Dear Byron: definitely we are in the purgatory with this process! :

Also all the embassy info is here. Members can enter information on the embassy info page and I think we should all try to keep it current and accurate. Until recently it had a lot of bad information.

If you buy tickets this late in the game, they will cost you an arm and a leg. You need to get them months in advance, even though you might get lucky and get a good fare later on. But why gamble?

Diana

True but sometimes, if you're lucky, you can find a travel agency that has unsold tickets that will lower the price.

Guys, the interview was finally scheduled. I'm scheduled for December 31st... wow what a date. Bad news is I'm gonna have to travel to Colombia (well it's always nice to go home, but I wasn't planning on spending an extra plane ticket). The good news is she'll be here for early January and I might even come back with her.

Try calling DOS see if your interviews have been scheduled, i.e. MV-JR.

Yeah, actually what I meant was that my interview was scheduled today, and packet 4 was sent out to my wife. Yesterday nothing had happened.

Hey all,

I just wanted to pop in and offer my best wishes to those that are having their interviews soon. I guess Brian and Yenis are at the embassy right now.

I just returned yesterday from eleven days in Colombia with my wife. Those trips are always very bittersweet. There is nothing harder than those flights home alone. We are hoping to get our NOA2 soon. From what I have read in this thread, I guess the best we can hope for is a March interview.

In reading this huge and very informative thread, I came across the link for the Packet 3 for K-3 in English (http://bogota.usembassy.gov/root/pdfs/k3-k4instructionseng.pdf). Is this PDF also available in Spanish? If so, what is the link? I know we won't have our interview for months, but I like to be prepared. It isn't critical for us to have the packet in Spanish, but it would be helpful for my wife as her English isn't that great.

Thanks,

CG
