Hey All !

I just got a panick stricken phone call from Olga. Seems she filled out her DS-156, hit the continue button and printed out the results. While proof reading she realized that on question #37 she correctly marked Yes and circled Fiance but omitted typing U.S. citizen on the line following Fiance.

Anyone have any idea as to correcting the online form ? Re-submit or ink it in at the interview ?

I have emailed the consulate but I won't hear from them until Monday.

Any thoughts are appreciated !

Relax. She can change it now or at the interview. No problem. Just hand write it in.

You don't understand. This is NOT an online form that is submitted online; it is only an online form that is filled out online but only can be printed out. The online feature is that once you print it out, all of the informatin is encrypted onto the special barcode that prints out.

Simple go back online and redo it and reprint the new version.

Again, it is not automatically submitted online; you only print it out from filling it out online. Understand?

Even if you need to add or replace any information, you can do so at the interview. We did. I forgot to put "Occupation" for Daria and we were just asked to write it in.

You are correct Phil.

However, the corrections can be made in ink now or at the interview. I made an error in completing Alla's and Pasha's forms (so much for being perfect, Clueless) When I carried over information to Pasha's form I did not change Alla's birthdate. She noticed it AT the time we turned in the forms and just crossed it off and changed it.

See, Clueless, I make mistakes, learn from them and pass on the information to others. What a concept.

Not such a big deal anyway because they'll already have all your information by the time she turns this in. They know you're the USC sponsor and they know she's there because of you. (Although she does want to prove to them that she knows you're her sponsor!)
