Happy Hump Day MENA!

Camel_Jordanian_Desert.jpg

Been up since 6 in the morning. Have some cleaning to do and then I'm going to take a nap. Tomorrow is all dedicated to finishing the AOS packet. I am not enjoying dealing with paperwork again! <_<

Have a good day everyone! (F)

Good morning MENA or good afternoon for those in the later hours. It's only 11am here.

At work...busting my tail! Lots of screaming kids this morning (more then usual anyways). Oh the joys of working at a pediatric clinic, sigh.....

And Aya, totally agree with ya about the paper work, not fun!!! I have a ton if it sitting in front of my face as I write this mad.gif So I s'pose I better get back to my paper-pushin' wacko.gif

Have a great day everyone!

Greetings everyone,

Last night, my husband and I went to see my "boyfriend" (as my husband refers to him) Russell Crowe in Robin Hood. It was pretty good but it certaintly was no Gladiator, lol.

I have a question for those of you who have dogs or know about dog breeds. We're considering adopting a puppy but we're unsure of a good breed that would get along with cats. We have a one and a half year old male Persian so the dog would have to be good with him. We prefer a larger breed but not too, too large. We have a decent sized home and a medium sized fenced in yard so space isn't a problem. Thanks in advance for any advice. :)

I've had shepherds, labs, boxers and a great dane all with cats. lots of funny happy times. my experience is that cats and dogs will get along just fine if one of them is young when you get them.

but I have to say it - PLEASE consider getting a dog from a shelter, even a puppy. shelters are full of mixed breed puppies, and actually the mixes/mutts tend to be healthier than purebreds :)

Thank you for the response! We've been looking on Petfinder for pups. We've seen several mixed breeds that are so cute. My husband wants them all, lol. I just want to be sure we choose one that fits in well with our family. I agree about the shelters/rescues. The best pets I've ever had came from shelters. In fact, our Watson came from the Humane Society. How anyone could give up such an adorable sweetheart I'll never know. I was shocked to see such a beautiful Persian at the Humane Society.

Thank you for your reply! I've been very hesitant about the idea of a dog but my husband wants one so bad he can taste it, lol. Not that I don't like dogs, I do. I just haven't had one in so long that I'm a bit afraid of the undertaking. Cats are so easy.

My cat is a shelter cat a siamese mix and she did wonderful with the boxer and now with the chihuahua.....they all are so funny and so wonderful to have

I know what you mean!!! I have my cat that I adopted through the ferral feline network and she doesn't like ANY dogs!! My husband has it in his mind he want a "police" dog..LOL 2 nights ago, I dog sat my mom and dad's peke-a-poo and pomeranian mix and they drove my husband nuts!!! Well, all I could say is that now he isn't too keen on getting a dog!!!

So if you have someone who has a dog, borrow it for a couple of nights!!!! rofl.gif
