I am wondering about the ease of a Dominican obtaining a tourist visa. Her parents and most of her family live in dominica but she does have some relatives in the states. She is not married and has no children. She lives alone there so I don't know if she would be viewed as a risk to let into the country or not. I have also heard that obtaining a tourist visa can depend on the states view of the prevelancy of fraud know to the requesting country. Any words of wisdom out there? Thanks

You have mentioned no positives.

It is only the fee for her to find out.

Tourist visas are always a ####### shoot. 50/50 chance of getting one.

You will need SIGNIFICANT and OVERWHELMING ties to your home country in order to convince the CO that you will not overstay your welcome in the U.S.

09/29/2009: I-130 NOA1
01/25/2010: I-130 NOA2
03/23/2010: Case completed.
05/12/2010: CR-1 interview at Mumbai, India.
05/20/2010: US Entry, Chicago.
03/01/2012: ROC NOA1.
03/26/2012: Biometrics completed.
12/07/2012: 10 year card production ordered.

09/25/2013: N-400 NOA1

10/16/2013: Biometrics completed

12/03/2013: Interview

12/20/2013: Oath ceremony
