Native alphabet different

I'm filling out the G-325A forms required for a fiance visa, and there's a box that says "If your native alphabet is in other than Roman letters, write your name in your native alphabet below." I found another online help site that said you should print it and then write it there yourself, rather than fill that part out online. But my girlfriend said she has the Farsi fonts and can simply write her name in Farsi online. Does anyone know if we're allowed to do that? We are currently living outside the United States and want to email everything to a lawyer who is helping us. He will then assemble our package and mail it in the United States, which will cut down on the time, as we won't have to mail it from Asia.

Thanks.

I had the same problem with the Georgian alphabet.

I have a Georgian font but the silly form wouldn't accept it. It just converted each character to dots.

We tried a bunch of options and couldn't get it to work.

We ended up having him write his name by hand and paying DHL to ship it to me along with his signed G-325a, signed letter of intent and passport photos.

I wish I had better news for you.

Good Luck!

Maybe the form is geared to accept the more widely spoken non-roman alphabet languages? Not knowing what Farsi looks like (I apologize for my ignorance), I'd give it a shot.
