F2B Questions IV fee bill received

Ive sent my DS-230 last week via FEDEX. How long will it take to receive a notification from the NVC for an interview at the US EMbassy. Thanks

According to some forums I've read, since your PD is already current and completed your DS230 it will take 4 to 6 weeks before you receive your notification for interview. Notification comes from US embassy not NVC. Upon completion of you case NVC will now send it to US Embassy to complete the process.

glad u did send thechoice of agent early cuz if it reaches 1 year w/o reply from you. they will close your case..

i dunno your waiting time, maybe after you paid iv fee and aos fee, to be paid by your petitioner.. and documents okay already...the nvc will contact you sson for interview and medical..since your pd is current...once you finished iv fee and aos maybe 3 months you will be interviewd if theres no prob in your documents and affidavit of support of your petitioner will not have prob...good luck

if your mom filed for you in Feb 2003, then that's your priority date. now your mom shouldn't have paid that, since your priority date isn't current.

the NVC was wrong to send the paperwork and your mom should have called to advise that you shouldn't be recieving the paperwork. YOu are no longer an F2B, but in the first category. children over 21 of a USC.

They are working on March, 95, so you have 7 or more years of waiting. That's wasted money because if you go to your interview, the officer will deny you based on that your priority date isn't current.

Hey continue with the processing of your mom's paperwork remember they said that it was sent because a visa might be avaialable immediately or within the next nine months thats why they requested your paperwork. It was the same for me tho my category is f2a when i received notice from the NVC my priority date was not current and it skipped to making my pd current now i am waiting for interview since i have already been given a date. so do what you must. ok good luck

ps i can guarantee you dont have 7 yrs to wait. i bet in a couple more months your a visa will be available to u. Nvc was not wrong to send you the packet.

Me and my mom are working on petitioning my over 21 y.o. siblings in the Philippines. We are happy to see that the timelime for F2b category have dramatically improved

do you have already interview date?

your PD is still months away from the current(October) visa bulletin for F2B,that means if you already have interview date next month there is a big jump of priority date for F2B next Nov .visa bulletin.

Hi!!! Many of us here are still waiting for an interview appointment, as for my case i'm F2A and my PD is September 2008 our case completed last October 2010 and now we are still waiting for our priority date to be current, in June 2011 Visa Bulletin the current date for F2A is August 2007. That is why i need to wait for my PD to be current...

As for ur case, u will also need to wait for ur PD to be current too... F2B in June 2011 visa bulletin is June 08, 2000. Keep an eye on the monthly visa bulletin for you to know the latest update on the priority dates...
