HELP!!! I-129f Question 18, explanation of meeting in person

How long is too long for the explanation of meeting #18, I wrote mine and went from how we were introduced, to me moving to Nigeria for my PhD research, to our friendship becoming more, to meeting his parents, to the proposal. Is that too much-it is 3 pages too long??? Please help! Any input would be appreciated greatly!

I'm fairly familiar with the packet since we just sent ours in April 28th. For our explanation I wrote about a paragraph of how we met ( the numerous times we flew to see one another and what we planned to do in the future ( i.e get married after the visa get approved) Personally, I wouldn't submit three pages of explanation but you can do as you please, that's just my opinion. They want the explanation short and sweet, not a book Pretty much they just want to know that you have met in the past 2 years. Good Luck with filing out the petition!

Maybe you can shorten your response so that you address the question. How did you meet. I turned Question 18 into a list of my evidence showing when and where we met in the two years prior to the submission of the form. List the relevant evidence showing you have met, nothing more and certainly nothing LESS.

I would answer question 18 within the space allowed on the form. However, since this is Nigeria, your evolution of relationship letter is a good thing to include. You might have a less interested party give you some editing suggestions though. Three pages is a bit much. Keep it to a page if you can. That way, they'll actually read it.

Okay yes I am just freaking out, as I know they treat Africans worse than most other continents where people are from. Can I do a 1 pager, and then put a supplement to the supplement "Our Story"? I just want them to know how long we have been together and how our relationship is real. Or just cut it down to 1 page-it's okay be honest with me.

I would just cut it down to one page of the numerous times you all have met and all. And then if you have room add in the parts other than meeting ( the pertains to your relationship). Just my opinion Good Luck
