We ran into a snag.....The person interviewing Gen has a problem that I did not Check a box...... I thought that by putting N/A it meant that neither of the boxes are an acceptable answer?

This is the Question....

11. I intend / do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.

This is the answer I gave per the example form....

N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )

Please advise....

Yes, I do not like the answer on the Example form because you can get a 221g for it. London is also known for wanting the "I intend" answer.

The better answer that would be difficult to complain about is to check:

"I intend" and then on the lines below (do not list definite amounts or time frame as you are in it for the long haul) write something like...

"I intend" "to provide housing, food, etc...<enter other items> for beneficiary <enter name>."

Good luck

After she called me and we were both in a panic, we decided we would just check a box and get back in line, and three hours later they took her paperwork and her visa and sent her to the AIR 21 window
