I have been talking to a friend of my fiance's and she said it is getting better. Please I know how this topic is and I'm not looking for an arguement with anyone. This is not me talking this is someone who is down there. She even said they re-opened the embassy for half a day and that there is much less gun shooting today. Just an update from someone on the island.

Mlbarb I spoke with my husband earlier and he stated that when he went on the road today he didn't hear or see any gun battle going on and he also stated that things have cool down a little, but here is the most up to date information that I have found from the US JM EMBASSY website hope this make you feel better.

I was talking to my husband and he is concerned that they will be tougher at the Embassy because of all that is going on and I'm trying to reassure him that it will not be the case.
