Pelosi: ObamaCare Helps Artists Avoid Hassle of Working

ObamaCare creates incentives not to climb the economic ladder. It also creates incentives not to work at all; able-bodied people can quit their jobs, safe in the knowledge that the suckersworking man will foot the bill for any health care they may need. Friday, huh? I guess I missed it until I saw it in the news this morning.

America will do well to have proper checks and balances in place to disenfranchise the lazy people from sucking away from the system. But sadly it happens already. I went through college working almost full time at a grocery store. There everyday I saw able-bodied people whip out their food stamps card and purchase cigarettes, this or that. While I was there thinking about how I can manage a week with only $15 of food budget.

There must be punitive measures for slackers if there is to be free healthcare or euro-style socialism.
