Bring Back the "-1" rating

Why? If I want to -1 all of Steve's posts, who are you to tell me I'm not allowed to do it?

I am suggesting that Ewok not allow you to do it.

As for rationale, if a poster accumulates many -1s I believe it would more meaningful (as a measure of bad behavior) if the -1s were accumulated from a large number of other users over a large number of days.

I still think that the +1 and -1 ratings should have a drop-down menu, similar to the one in the Polls forum where you can see who voted which way, so that all of the votes can be identified.

Well, if the idea is to make the +1/-1 system open and less subject to abuse, I believe it would be better for everyone to have the opportunity to see who cast votes and which way they voted. I mean, it's not like we're electing someone for a position of responsibility. It's just commenting on something they've written. Why would you want your opinion to be anonymous?
