Bring Back the "-1" rating

You know, Kathryn, I would certainly appreciate it if you with your magical moderation powers could ask that Ewok address this topic. Obvioulsy, there is a vocal minority that is being ignored here, much like Charles' antics are ignored all over the board. I think we deserve the courtesy of a response. You're so quick to jump and act on silly things, but no one bothers to address this issue that *is* actually important to some of us around here.

News flash! Some people actually care about VJ and have offered great ideas on how it can be better. Please acknowledge that.

If the asnwer is no, we at least deserve an explanation as to why not.

OK, in all seriousness, I think it should be brought back on a trial basis - say, a month. Now that I am getting used to post ratings, I definitely see an opportunity for it. An answer to a serious question that is completely and utterly wrong, should stand out as being massively negatived. Possibly even deleted, to make sure no one uses it just because it says what they want to hear, if it is too negative (say, -10).

I know. It's infuriating that we missed the offending diatribe and won't ever get to find out who the culprit was and what they said (which is kind of the point of deleting the post, but oh well)
