on my fiance's NOA2, the Approval of Notice says its valid from 03/08/2010 to 07/07/2010. Does this mean that she will get an interview before this expiration date? what happens if it goes beyond the expiration date?

No - that doesn't guarantee she will get the interview before that date (usually does however)

If it goes past that date, due to AP, the embassy usually will extend it. Or you can extend it.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Depends on the wait for interviews in your country.

In Ghana right now they are extending out approvals automatically because we are being scheduled about 8 months out from our approval. Not all countries automatically do it, so if you are scheduled later then your experation date you just have to ask the embassy to extend it.
