Yeah i love how my comment was removed for "insulting another member", but i digress. The reason i said what i said, and yes i was a little hmmmm (cant say i guess, dont wanna offend the POWERS THAT BE), was that i was very specific in my original comment. I specifically asked for those who had been to the interview and then had their oath letter mailed to them. I was SPECIFICALLY trying to avoid comments like "We dont work for the USCIS", yeah AS IF. Anyways, i got a great response above, and its really not worth getting into it, i just cant stand when people ask straight questions you have those who give crooked (for the lack of a better word) answers!! Im cool now!! i've said my peace!!

it looks like I was too late to read a reply made to me... but I wasn't trying to be rude... all I was saying is regardless of what others have gone through, the outcome for the OP will be different - so it is easier to look back at previous filers and try to get an estimate on how things work...

This is all I suggested for the OP to do...

Try to estimate based on previous members who have gone through the Boston office.... I went back to July 2009 until February 2010 but these 3 entries are all I found.

From the data below, there isn't a mention of when the oath letter was received, but it is clear that the Boston office takes a long time to get oath ceremonies scheduled.

UserName............Sent.....ChkCashd...NOA.....Fprints...Int Ltr...Intview...Oath......FieldOffice

cle_w2000.........01/08/10..01/12/10..01/13/10..02/08/10..03/09/10..04/12/10..07/14/10..Boston, MA

Jules67...........09/01/09..09/06/09..09/11/09..09/29/09..10/30/09..12/08/09..03/18/10..Boston, MA

Dcooper...........09/21/09..09/24/09..09/24/09..10/07/09..11/30/09..12/29/09..04/01/10..Boston, MA (walk-in fprints)

Keep in mind that most people stop visiting VJ just because they are done and they don't need to stay here... while others remain loyal and keep visiting... tehrefore, the answer to your question had very slim chances to be answer by someone who actually completed his/her journey at the Boston Office.

Hope this info helps.

It's not a pay site you know, you have to glean what you can and sift out all the stuff that you can't use or is wrong - and be grateful for that

It's still a fantastic resource and it's free - so we can't complain of the service or that people didn't comply with our demands and instructions as to how we wish to be answered.

Piece or peace - no matter - glad there is peace

Interview March 30th, STILL no oath letters......I called the courthouse where the oath ceremonies take place and the next one isn't til July 16th so I am assuming that I won't get letters til mid June? However I was told at the interview that it would be 2-4 weeks....and that was 7 weeks ago...LOL

That's a bummer - some people are 'done' the same day as the interview

I will be at Yakima in the Washington State desert - they sometimes have a roaming ceremony in different towns in Washington - on the 4th July following the year of the interview no doubt...

We found out yesterday at an infopass that they don't send the oath letter until six weeks or sooner before the oath ceremony date. So if the next oath ceremony isn't until mid-July (or the next oath ceremony that isn't full isn't until then), oath letter won't come until beginning of June, even if the interview was passed in March or April.... That's what we were told, anyway.

So i guess its all different strokes for different folks when it comes to the issue of oath letter. Perhaps i forgot to mention (in my interview experience)that the IO handed me (on the interview day)a hand-filled N445 that had date and time of oath ceremony on it.Reading all the above comments, it seems this is not done in some local USCIS offices but they expect you to wait until you receive the oath letter in the mail. Interesting!

Okay so who is ready to move to Metro Richmond area in VA?
