Hi!

I need your help please....

My husband is in the US. the latest letter that we received from the NVC was the Choice of Agent and address.... Now after I answered the forms I send it back to NVC address that was indicated to the letter.

MY QUESTIONS ARE:

1. My husband has a copy about it, does he need also to answer it?

2. When we checked through the www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov, the AOS fee of $ 70 is already paid and my husband printed already the Doucument cover sheet... What will be the next step he should do? Is it ok to print out right away the AOS forms without the consent of NVC since it was already indicated there that it was paid already.. cause he'd been trying to call the NVC hotline but unfortunately it was always busy....

3. How many months will I wait for the Medical exam and interview?

1. No.

2. Send in the I-864 with the coversheet. That 'Document Cover Sheet' generation __IS__ NVC's consent to send it in.

3. Hard to forecast, all depends on your husband's ability to get the DS-230 INTO NVC . If he is pro-active, then I predict 3 to 4 months. At some point, the 'appointment letter' will be sent to you two, and with the appointment letter in hand, you can go forth with the medical exam.

Most ppl are pro-active about this, and PUSH things into NVC, basing 'status' of 'when to send in' on the payment portal status.

Here's a mini how-to - have a read?

Thaks for answering my questions. But I need to clarify about my question number 2. My husband needs to wait for the consent about the I-864 forms and the printing of document cover sheet?

Yes! Base on what my husband did.

And how will I know if the NVC already received my DS 3032? I sent it May 7, 2010. Until now my husband don't have any update yet what will be the next step.. But base on the AOS Fee payment receipt details since it's already indicated PAID,

***"Once the Payment STatus is PAID you must print out the Document Cover sheet and attach it to the document sent to NVC.

PAID TRANSACTIONS - For each payment with a Payment Status of PAID, print a copy of the Document Cover Sheet (one for the paid AOS fee and one for the paid IV application processing fees). The document sheet will provide you with a correct address to which you must return your documents now that you have paid your fees.****

So me and my husband was confused.. Does my husband need to wait for the call from the NVC before printing out the document cover sheet and the I-864?

THANKS!!!

Hi...

About AOS package...your husband should print out the document cover sheet and go ahead send AOS package to NVC.

About DS-3032...on the payment portal...is IV fee bill generated yet? if not then I think you should send e-mail of DS-3032 to NVC also...they will accept it quickly (in 3-4 business days) and they will e-mail you back.

Email DS-3032 form

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

if IV fee bill already generated then your DS-3032 already accepted so go ahead pay IV fee bill. after few days later it will shows PAID so your husband can print the document cover sheet and go ahead sent IV package to NVC.

please read "LingChe NVC ShortCut" at least 2 or 3 times.

and also read "Here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:"

Repeat for Emphasis: Send in the I-864 with the coversheet. That 'Document Cover Sheet' generation __IS__ NVC's consent to send it in.

The Cover Sheet was generated on the web portal. The 'act of generation' __IS__ NVC's consent to send it in.

EMAIL this link to your husband:

and ask him to read it.

'IV BILL available to be paid' on the online portal is directly tied to 'DS-3032 accepted and added to the casefile' at NVC.
