I call 'system error', on this one.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Actually a few people have reported things like this happening. Don't worry about it :) Just do what you do. You can see the approval date is the same as your actual approval date (2009) so it's just a delayed (REALLY delayed) email.

If I was you i will rather check the status of the Petition on the USCIS web site...plain and simple, so you will know it was an error.

As others said, I wouldn't worry about it. It is the assumption that files are manually updated in the system. You can still call to ease your mind but most probably you will end up with more questions than answers. You have your GC and the date is back to when your GC is approved so there is nothing to be concerned about.
