Leave it to the NVC to make it harder that it has to be. When my wife's appointment was in limbo with her childs, because her child had a appointment and the mother still did not have one due to re-submitting the ds-230. But when I asked the NVC why they weren't sending any interview letter for my wife, they said it was out of there hands and I had to talk to the embassy about it.

So today I get a letter mailed to my address after I sent all the necessary papers to my wife about a hour before I got the letter. So the only thing I can think of to do is to scan the letter, send it to my wife's email and have her print it out and add it to the papers when she recieves them next week. Because it has a bar code on it. It's not a appointment letter but a expidited letter so I don't know if the embassy is going to require it, but I don't want to take any chances.

I finally got both interview appointments confirmed on June 4th at 8:30am at the embassy. The embassy sent me email, so I printed that out and sent it with papers. But I still want her to have the expidited letter as well. So I think I will be ok,

On another note, I want to thank all the people who have helped me in this forum. I recieved a lot of support and it really helps make this whole journey a lot less stressful. I hope I can help someone else the way the people have helped me here.

regards,

Martin

I sent i-864, but I might take it out of the packet. I had a friend that married from Manila, and he suggested that I take it out of the main folder and put in a misc. folder for her to hold in case they ask. They dindn't even ask him. I think they just want to make sure all the papers are the same that the NVC sent. The reason being is that they go by what the NVC sends to embassy. My income for 2009 was considerably more due to a buyout that I had from my company before I got laid off. So I ammended my 2009 taxes along with 2008. Since this has been going on for 3 years, I might run into some questions. I am emailing my wife a updated i-864 to be printed out as well. I just keep praying things will work out.

Good luck. For the letter, a scanned and printed copy is ok. IF they want an updated I-864 it would have to have an original signature.(although, according to the embassy's site, your original I-864 is good indefinately once signed)
