Hello,

Wondering if anybody got their interviews scheduled by NVC at other times than the 2nd week of the month? Our case was complete yesterday and appears that we missed out on the June interviews being scheduled in the 2nd week and wanted to know how long will need to wait before our interview is scheduled. So if anybody knows of or can tell me when their interviews were scheduled then I would thank you very much.

Hello

You can contact the Immigrant Visa Unit to get your date a few days after you receive confirmation.

We sent our DS-230 and DS-2100 forms to the Embassy via fax on 4/20/2010 and they sent us an e-mail on 4/22/2010 confirming they received it. The same day we sent an e-mail to the Immigrant Visa Unit at IVBogota@state.gov requesting our interview date and they responded on 4/28/2010 notifying us of our date was 6/9/2010.

FYI.. In the e-mail we included our case number (BGTXXXXXX), full names, and birth dates.

They are also supposed to send a letter to your fiancee confirming the date and the items she needs to bring to the interview but we never received this.

You can also call them at 011-57-1-315-1566 but they only accept calls on Wednesdays between 2:00 & 4:00 PM local time. I would suggest calling weekly if they don't respond to your e-mail to confirm your date as soon as possible.

I'll also be checking the June schedule which should be released next week sometime to confirm our date.

I hope this helps and I wish you well.

Call the NVC to find out if you missed out on a June interview for sure. They can also tell you when they'll be able to schedule your interview if they were not able to do it during the first two weeks of May. But it sounds like you'll be getting an early July date.
