Change Category from F2A to F2B

Hello everyone,

Today I was wondering about my case status as a permanent resident with F2A -

Spouses and unmarried childen of Permant Resident category. I called

today in order to check my status by phone, therefore I noticed that

my category was changed to F2B. I have my I-130 and others letters

which prove that my category is F2A.

I really concern about it and I would like to know what is happening

with my case. Why my category was unexpectedly changed?

Anyone know what could be happend?

did you turn 21, probably they changed your category because you aged out? do you have an approved i130 that states your categoria is FA to check if you qualify for the CSPA?

My daughter's case is exactly the same. She too got a letter dtd Sept 9 2009 with F2A but when we called they say its F2B

Now Jan 2004 is current. Lets keep our fingers crossed that the line keeps jumping for another 4 months!!!

Incidently there is a CSPA case where the govt has to give a ruling on Aug 15th.Who knows - it may be in the favour of children after all!!
