Co Sponser AOS current year tax return not yet file

Hi guys,

Another question related to AOS my co sponsor has not yet file tax return for the current year. Do I need to wait until co sponsor file tax return for the current year or I can submit AOS with last years tax papers.

Since it is past April 15, you will need 2009 tax returns to use with the 864, as this is the most recent tax year.

I was a co sponsor for my friend last year and hadn't filed the latest year's tax return yet although it was past Apr 15th.

I provided a copy of the tax extension document that my accountant filed for me and three years tax returns. He didn't want to

wait until I file the tax return. He gave it a try and got approval with those documents.

I wanted to share my experience but there is always a chance that they might send an RFE for current year's tax return.
