On the I129f form there is a line that says that if your fiance's native alphabet is different than english, that she has to write her name and address on the line below. Well, my fiance is chinese, so she did that, but does that need to be translated and verified by a native speaker???

Also, I have some plane tickets and stuff that are in chinese but they are mostly just to prove that I was actually in China to see her, so do those need to be translated into english as well?

Thanks.

Not sure about the signature, but any evidence that is submitted in a foreign language must be translated.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I had the same problem with my husbands name. I don't write arabic so i stated that on the line for his name and attatched a separate paper that he wrote his name and address on and faxed to me. I wrote on the paper which line it was in refence to and his name and address in english. They accepted it and we were approved. Might work for you too.
