Finally almost Saturday, the last day of work for me before my 2 days off!

Adam is going to be going to a cardiologist on May 25th. Last week Friday night and Tuesday night he got dizzy again at work and had low blood pressure and felt shocking in the bottom of his feet. He went to the med Dr. yesterday and showed him his heart reading results from last year June and got tested again. His heart rate is lower than what it was last year, so the doctor wants him to see the Cardiologist. He's constantly working for like 4 men at his job and is getting really stressed there.

He has a job interview on Monday morning with the city. It would be awesome if he gets the job. Its higher pay than where hes at, he would be off on Sat & Sundays, home every night with me... Soooo... I cant wait til Monday to find out if he gets the job!

Hope every one has a great weekend! I cant wait for Saturday to be over with and its just now getting started!

Its now Satuday.

Today my friend Howida is graduating and next week she will home to Misr. I have mixed feelings about this. She has been with me while Ahmed's paperwork is finishing. On one hand Im happy for her and and the other hand she is the last piece of Misr I have left. :crying:

Mornin ladies and gents.

Sara, ur new housemate is so sad :( I'm happy to see that you were able to take him in and provide a loving place to stay. May God bless you in all that you do!

Just got home from work. Had a scare this morning. Between 2 and 3am, I ate supper (a taco salad from chachos...it was sooooooooooo good)...then went outside to smoke and when I was done, i lost my hearing, my eyeballs blacked out, my heart slowed, got SUPER dizzy, and broke out into a sweat! I went to the bathroom and almost passed out on the toilet!! It scared me soooo bad! It only lasted about 3 minutes. When it was over, I was soooooo weak and tired! I kept falling asleep. I was just fine before that. Any nurses/doctors in here have any idea what that was all about????? HELP!

I hope everybody has a blessed day!

Heart issue or a TIA (mini stroke)...or just stress or too much caffeine, although that is pretty extreme for too much caffeine/stress. Meds maybe? Either way, your brain wasn't getting perfused due to either the heart not pumping correctly, or something in your brain blocking the circulation, albeit temporarily. I would get checked out! Not normal.

BTW I was only upset how everyone was treating Terrie and nothing else and no hard feelings to anyone-just was disgusted with the thread and most peoples' responses.

I seen your post just now and couldn't not say something...thought I would let you know to get checked out (I am an RN). Hope all is well.

Morning everyone! Temps are back up. Back to bakin'!!

Tammy, our prayers are with you and Adam. Wishing him the best on his job interview!!

Amal, see a doctor as soon as you can. Don't take any chances sweetie.

Wael is studying for ONE more final and finishing up his last research project. He's kinda in a fog!!

He had another e-mail from Columbia!! He wanted to stay here to finish his last year, but this email

sparked a REAL interest for him. I think he will apply and see what happens. Columbia has 6 different

Economic programs and one was tailored perfectly for what he wants. We talked about the opportunities

of having the best networking right at your front door (NYC). He is just in awe of what doors have opened.

Bless his heart, he has worked so hard to maintain his honors and now he sees they love him!!

Hope everyone has a great Saturday and a good weekend!

Amal, take care and NO more smoking!!! Im constantly asking Adam to quit too.

Jeanne, thanks for praying for Adam. Hes under alot of stress right now with work, ready to put in his 2 week notice which may happen tonight, still has the interview on Monday with the city, but needs to see the Cardiologist on May 25th with his health insurance. He gave his doc paper work to the managers at work last night and told them he needed help working, and they still put every other guy together except him. He was ready to quit last night. I dont understand why they are being so mean to him, he has a note from the doc for goodness sake!

Anyways, Jeanne... Wael is doing so good. Its good to hear how much hes studying and working towards degrees. Im sure all of this will pay off big time for ya'll when it comes time for a great job. Wishing him all the best!

Yall all have a great day... Im heading off to work.

If I had insurance, I woulda probably called the doc. I'm waiting for husband to decide which plan on my insurance I should take. I want to cover him and he says not to coz of the price....so I brought the paperwork home so we could decide together....and it's been 2 weeks now. uggggggggggggggg

Tamara, he could totally sue them for discrimination. It sounds like that's what they're doing. Jerks!!!! I sure hope his interview on Monday goes well!

Hey MENA!! It's Saturday night, so I can still post for Saturday!

Tam, I hope things gets better for Adam! Stress can do so much to your body and he definitely doesn't need the added stress from working with jerks.

Amal, it sounds like your blood pressure is either going skyhigh or dropping really quick. You should check to see if there is a doc in a box in your area, they usually make really good deals when you don't have insurance. Our hospital has a outpatient clinic with really good prices and also takes payments if necessary. Don't let money stop you taking care of yourself.

Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I ever did!!! I tried cold turkey and Cheryl my hat off to you for doing it that way!! I was way too weak!!! I ended up doing it with the Chantix. It took me 2 different times to do it, but it worked. And I was a die hard smoker!!!!

Now it is time for Sameh to quit smoking. I am being nice right now because he hasn't been here a month yet...innocent.gif BUT that won't be for too much longer!!!devil.gif

Good evening everyone. Hope you have a wonderful evening, and a great Sunday.

Quitting smoking is hard, I too need to stop, and Amr also agrees, he needs to cut down. And I know this sounds like a cop out, but with extra stress, its so hard to stop

.

Im aiming to stop smoking before I get to Egypt in September, with Amr, well , I think that will be differnet story.

Sweet dreams everyone.
