maybe - but....

Guangzhou is always lagged - and any VO, well, specifically the VO assigned to her case, will automatically extend the validity dates automatically, without you (or her) needing to do anything else about it.

Call it a 'benefit' of the lag time on shipping. Most OTHER Embassies have FAST FIFO in the mailroom -

Guangzhou's mailroom has a warehouse 'before' it - where anything coming over goes into the warehouse FIRST, with a 1 to 4 month delay.

all this information is great but when my wife was there the last time @ guz , anything she gave the interviewer was ignored. Infact, 2 or there things were dropped on the floor and were never seen picked up. so giving an eoc or pics, fouls the taste in my mouth if its just going to be thrown down and not looked at? It seems they ,the interviewers, can be as rude as they like but one thing said by some one outside and my life goes back on hold.

one thing said by some one outside - ouch - this smells of 'third party correspondence'. Is someone submitting things to GUZ about your wife? If that's the case, you should dig into that. TPC at GUZ is 'hit and miss' - either GUZ ignores it, or they look into it, give that 'third party's submission' some credence, prior to interview day.

Sorry about what happened on your wife's interview day (throwing/dropping of papers)- if that actually happened, IMO, you should go to ACH at Guangzhou and talk about this, specifically, prior to interview day - heck - you can do that SOONISH, as well, without getting the 'interview date set' yet.

I have to ask - do you have full copies of everything submitted prior to that interview day? Have you made time to review all, try to ascertain exactly what the red flags are? If not, you should make some time to do that. IMO, there were red flags in the casefile, not covered adequately in the casefile, and the VO decided to give 'hard interview' on interview day.
