Greetings all !

My wife recieved her biometrics letter (dated May 5) and we actually just went to the West Palm Beach USCIS office a week early and they took her in without a problem. We are waiting to hear something else so I checked the

USCIS website with her NBC number and it says a Request for Evidence was sent out May 3. Do we need to call them? Is this normal or should we be concerned? We have not received any other documents other than the receipt notice and the biometrics letter......Thanks!

For N-400 applications, the RFE status online is for biometrics... doesn't make sense and creates a lot of unnecessary concern and agony but USCIS officers aren't receiving these messages so they could care less that it is wrong....

The next letter you may receive is a yellow sheet that may request your wife to bring with her some original documents to the interview, but that is a normal letter everyone receives and should not generate any concern.

Don't worry yourself. The same thing happened to me. When I called them they said it was a mistake and I should ignore it. I will however call first and confirm with them. They will do an investigation and send you a note that they made a mistake and ignore that RFE.

V333 is right in saying the next thing you should expect is the yellow letter.
