Hi! im newly registered here VJ..

My husband got the NOA1 last March 2, 2010. I just want to ask if how many days it will take does the NOA2 issued upon recieving NOA1?

Anyone could give me some idea...

2005---We met by friend/Church member that was living in Nigeria

2006---We begin to talk about getting married

2007---I was going to met him face to face, but hurt my back couldn't walk..

2009---Was able to see each for the first time.. I got my engagement ring (WOW).. :wow:

2010-01-22 mailed I129f

2010-01-26 got NOA1

2010-05-12 called to see why no NOA2, I was told that our case is not being processed yet!!!!! No notes in the computer

other then the mailing of the NOA1!!!!!!! :angry:

2010-05-18 called SERVICE CENTER again to see what's going on with our case.. NOT BEING PROCESSED YET I WAS TOLD AGAIN!!!

2010-06-16 Got notice that NOA2 was approved 141 days after NOA1. We got our approval on Ossy's Birthday.. Happy birthday honey, I love you!!!!

2010-06-21 got NOA2 in hand

2010-06-22 called NVC to see if papers was there, but was told that my DOB was not right in the system. Just mailed a letter along with a copy of my birth certificate asking to change my DOB.. Way to go VCS..

2010-06-22 NVC received the case

2010-06-23 Case sent to Embassy in Barbados

2010-06-28 Embassy received our case

2010-08-09 Interview Administrative Review

2010-11-15 Approved for Visa (I was on the mission to make sure the INTERVIEWER that we had never interviewed anyone else and I did it).. Know that you have right and don't let the interviewer cross the line..

2010-12-10 Visa and Passport in hand!!! Thank God!!!

2010-12-19 Ossy will enter the States!!

It takes about 2-5 months after receiving yours NOA-1 date. but still it varies case to case.if you are lucky then you will hear something soon :)

06-17-2010 - NOA2

Your I-130 was APPROVED in 107 days from your NOA1 date.

06-24-2010 - NVC Case Number Assigned

08-24-2010 - Sign in Fail - Case COMPLETE in 60 days

10-27-2010 - INTERVIEW Riyadh

11-27-2010 - VISA issued

01-06-2011 - POE JFK

01-27-2011 - Welcome letter

01-28-2011 - Green came via Priority mail

01-06-2011 - GC Issue Date

02-05-2011 - GC Received

02-10-2011 - Applied for SSN at local office

02-19-2011 - SSN Received by mail

10-06-2012 (?) - GC Extend Date

01-06-2013 - GC Expires Date

Im still waiting for my NOA2 for my daughter :( Hope we get our NOA2 this MAY so i can merge my daughter application to my wife's approve I-130 :crying:

05-12-10 - got an email says Approve. !!! yehey!!!!!

05-14-10 - NOA2 Hard Copy Receive

Your I-130 was approved in 90 days from your NOA1 date

We got our NOA1 in December and still haven't received our NOA2 (course we had an RFE a month ago)

12/04/2010 Paperwork returned because I signed on wrong place

12/06/2010 Filed I-130 (signed in correct place)

12/16/2009 Received N.O.A for I-130

12/31/2009 Husband refused entry into U.S as a visitor, sent back to England

1/4/2010 Filed I-129F

1/21/2010 Received N.O.A for I-129F

5/3/2010 Received letter from D.O.T asking for certified divorce certificate for I-130 visa (my prior marriage)

5/6/2010 Sent certified divorce decree over night to Chicago

5/18/2010 Received NOA 2 for I-129F

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

-NVC operator says the IV package has been entered: 11/18/10

-E-mailed SUE to see if that would do anything (3 diff times...): 11/29/30/10

-Sent AOS RFE's: 12/1/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

I remembered when my daughter got approved before my husband, I called the USCIS and asked if it was usual for the daughter to be approved first. The lady said that the approvals are usually within a week or two of each other. I suggest you call USCIS and ask if there is anything they can do to keep your wife and daughter's files together. God Bless!

09/02/2006: Dee married Eee

10/14/2006: Dee and Eee were blessed with daughter

01/15/2010: NOA1

03/12/2010: Daughter's NOA2 (e-mail/text message) ::: 56 days from NOA1

03/18/2010: Eee's NOA2 (e-mail/text message) ::: 62 days from NOA1

03/26/2010: Case received at NVC

04/26/2010: Sign In Failed!!!/Case Complete per AVR ::: 31 days

04/28/2010: P4

05/12/2010 & 05/14/2010: Medical-PASSED

06/10/2010: Interview at 6:30AM-APPROVED!!! ::: 146 days from NOA1

06/19/2010: Visa on hand

06/25/2010: POE-SFO via PAL

i didnt file it together.. i file it 2 weeks after my wife.. cause i didnt know that i had to send seperate I130 for my daughter..it was my mistake... so i have to wait for my daughter to get approve :(

My NOA1 is dated March 18, then our case was touched March 22nd and that's all I know :unsure: Should i be worried? or i just need to be patient and wait for my NOA 2?

At least i havent received an RFE..... yet :)
